      The goalStudents should qualify to be able to notice the connection between the nutrition of intensively reared animals and the parameters of yield and quality of meat and other animal products.
      The outcomeAcquiring the knowledge about feed selection and their ratio as well as other feed supplements used in animal nutrition that affect yield and quality parameters in meat and other animal products.
      Contents
      Contents of lecturesEnergy and protein feedstuffs in animal nutrition. The importance of minerals and vitamins. Omega 6 and 3 fatty acids and the importance in animal products. Parameters of meat yield. Parameters of meat quality. The examples of feedstufs selection on parameters of yield, quality and nutritive value of meat and other animal produce.
      Contents of exercisesThe evaluation of yield and quality parameters of animals from different farms (same breed – different nutrition).
