Condition
The goal		Acquainting students with necessary knowledge in management branch and learn them to use necessary tools and techniques for successfully managing of veterinary practice in the terms of total competitiveness.
The outcome		Student should know the significance of correlation between livestock production and veterinary services, to understand the influence of epidemiological status on the low of offer and demand, what are the production costs, the evaluation of economic losses and to apply econometric methods in evaluation of animal health control program.
Contents
Contents of lectures		Veterinary in the development of livestock production in Serbia. WTO, agriculture and free trade. Changes in market balance due to the impact of epidemiological situation. Factors of production and the production function. The costs and calculations of VS. Economics of veterinary measures and economic losses. Economic evaluation of animal health control program. Management and marketing in VP.
Contents of exercises		Conversion of livestock units. Management and reproduction of herds. Optimal term exploitation of animals. The height of the economic damage. Rentability limit in animal husbandry. Economic principles of production. The costs and cost prices of products and services. Program planning measures. The choice of alternative actions in animal health control on herd level.
