    The goalThe course is based on the mastering of theoretical and practical knowledge, which aims to familiarize students with the most important characteristics and the concepts of veterinary clinical parasitology, and to enable them to organize and manage the prevention of economic losses with the main goal to improve animal welfare in all aspects of livestock production.
    The outcomeAfter mastering the curriculum of the course students should be able тo adopt a basic knowledge of the epizootiology / epidemiology, pathogenesis, subclinical and clinical manifestations of the diseases, diagnosis, chemotherapy and various methods for control of parasitic infections.
    Contents
    Contents of lecturesIntroduction and general characteristics of the parasitic etiology diseases.Blood protozoozis,coccidiosis,flagellates and ciliates of the domestic animals.Ruminant trematodosis.Ruminant and equine anoplocefalidozis.Cestodosis in carnivores.Askarididosis in domestic animals.Important ruminant,equine and swine,carnivores and poultry nematodosis.Important ectoparasites.
    Contents of exercisesIntroduction in to the diagnosis of parasitic diseases. Qualitative and quantitative methods of the coprological diagnostics. Diagnosis of the protozoozis in blood and coccidiosis, important helminthoses in ruminants, equine and swine, carnivores, rabbits and poultry. Diagnostics of the artropodosis. Antiparasitics of the most importance.
