The goal | Pharmacology provide students with basic knowledge about pharmaceutical forms of drugs, the fate of the drug in the body, place and mode of action of drugs on the body of the animal. Toxicology provide students with basic knowledge about the types toxins, the degree of toxicity, toxicokinetics, toxicodinamics, the clinical symptoms of poisoning and the methods of treatments of poisoned animals.
The outcome | Student should know: types and forms of drugs, prescription drugs, dosages and routes of administration of drugs, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, adverse and toxic effects of drugs that are synergistic and antagonistic known interactions between drugs, origin and types of poisons and poisoning, toxicokinetics and toxicodynamics poisons and method of treatment of poisoned animals.
