Condition
The goal		To develop oral and written communication in professional situations, to increase fluency, to gain confidence, to use the available literature in veterinary medicine.
The outcome		Students should be able to use expert literature, to write or translate a letter, to communicate and to manage in every day situations.
Contents
Contents of lectures		Gender and plural of nouns, articles, possessive, demonstrative and indefinite adjectives, personal, demonstrative, indefinite and relative pronouns, gender and plural and comparison of adjectives, cardinals and ordinals numerals, present, future and perfect of some verbs, imperative mood, adverbials of time, place and manner, negative and interrogative forms
Contents of exercises		Reading press articles which will be given for analysis and subsequent debates; giving opinions; polite requests and offers; advice, obligation, permission; arguing for and against; expressing disbelief; applying for a job: a CV and a covering letter; telephone conversations; writing emails, formal and informal letters
