      The goalUnderstanding the mechanisms of disorders of certain organs of the digestive system in various animal species, mastering the techniques and methods of testing disorders of certain organs and introduction to clinical and experimental research methods in gastroenterology of various animal species.
      The outcomeStudent should know etiopathogenesis and diagnostics of diseases of the digestive system, the specifics of the clinical pathology of the digestive system in various animal species, knows independently how to implement clinical and specialist testing methods of individual organs and describe the results.
      Contents
      Contents of lecturesGenetic factors and pathology of the gastrointestinal system. Etiopathogenesis and diagnosis of diseases of the oral cavity, pharynx, salivary glands, esophagus and stomach, small and large intestine. Digestion and absorption, diarrhea, malabsorption and maldigestion, constipation, colic. Etiopathogenesis and diagnosis of diseases of the liver and pancreas. Tumors of the gastrointestinal system.
